There's an article in the Crescent News about: Remembering really tough American times By:Marc Kovac LINK
I'm predjudiced in favor of the "old timers" vs "baby boomers". I admire the character and beliefs of the old timers, and I would say that the old timers were more self reliant and successful. They were individuals. I think way back about the colonists. When they had a commune, it didn't work. When they had individuals working for themselves, it did work. Then, who was more interested in the success of the individual? Was it our founding fathers or Franklin D. Roosevelt? To clarify, I would say that Franklin D. Roosevelt was interested in the welfare of the group, not individuals.
Are the baby boomers for the group, or are they for individual freedom?
