Scottsdale, Arizona – October 25, 2010 –

A German ship has been seized

A German ship has been seized off the coast of Kenya.

I think of Kenya as a primitive country, where civilization has not yet occurred. It is the last place on earth, where I would want to visit or live. However, Obama Jr. idolizes Kenya and his father. Kenya is primitive, and Obama Sr. was a member of a tribe, a drunk, a wife beater, and he believed in 100% taxation.

I have learned another thing about Obama Jr.. I was curious where D’Souza found the information about Obama Jr. and his belief that he could communicate with his father. What I found wasn’t exactly that, but Obama Jr. himself stated that Obama Jr’s beliefs would be appreciated by his father, if his father was here.

“Then Senator Obama says that it is important to "echo his father's thoughts" and then goes on to say that when he "echos his father's thoughts; it makes his (dead)father appreciative." When a person claims to speak for a dead person; umm..... that IS the metaphysical definition of "channeling!"”

Video Scroll down to first video

Another article says Obama was a poor writer, and that books by Bill Ayers mirror many, many things that appear in “Dreams of my Father” purportedly written by Obama. My personal belief is that Ayers wrote Obama’s books based on what I read in this article. There is a multitude of indications that Ayers wrote Obama’s books.

Finally, I want to say that pointing out that Obama didn’t use the words “British Petroleum”, but used the letters BP, does not diminish my opinion of Dinesh D’Souza in any way. Basically, to do so, is an attack on the messenger D’Souza to discredit his message in:

Show 624 Dinesh D'Souza speaking on his book The Roots of Obama's Rage. Audio MP3

The idea that Obama is anti colonialist, insulted the British, and thinks he can “channel” with his father, isn’t attacked. However, D’Souza is attacked because an author made a claim against D’Souza the messenger. Don’t show me anything about D’Souza the person, show me where his ideas are wrong.

I would encourage thinking in terms of the world.

Obama and Ayers have pulled off a colossal deception. A small time primitive African tribesman’s son has gained control of the United States. Obama has destroyed the traditions of this country. His allies Soros and Ayers are committed to destroying this country.

I'm planning to write about West Virginia's Democrat governor, who has denounced Obama's Cap and Trade. Now, get this; he would not vote for Obamacare, since he found out what's in it!

Let me say I support Juan Williams' right to say what he said.

  • Free Speech!

Obama and Soros have made their bed. Obama supporting his father, and Soros' support of PBS among other things.

The president thinks his father would appreciate what he is trying to do.

Again what does this have to do with Pirates in Kenya. Other than a attempt to smear the President with some thing he has nothing to do with.

If were are going to play the if game. What if you woke up in the morning and became a Democrat? It is as possible as this story in relating to the President.

So Somali pirates seize a German ship off the coast of Kenya, outside their territorial waters and you turn this into a polemic against the President. Damn, fine piece of analytical logic there. Like the medaevil belief that rotten meat gave off flies, when it was flies laying eggs in the rotten meat. You of course still believe the world is flat and the sun revolves around it, right?

Obama will never win with his critics. When the American ship captain was captured by Somali pirates, the critics cried, "isn't Obama going to do something about this?". When he gave the order to kill the pirates and save the captain, the critics cried, "how could Obama give the order to kill those poor Muslim pirates?"... Can't win for losing...

Well, apparently from what Ive heard President Obama is: Marxist, revolutionary extremist, Socialist, non US citizen, Muslim, corrupt, freeloader, anti American, and the anti Christ. He is the only politician I actually feel sorry for, the media tore him to shreds before he even stepped foot in the white house.

suikogaiden,

Obama was destined to fail for those praying for his demise. I didn't vote for Bush but I didn't hate him. The two wars didn't make me happy. The crash of the auto industry disturbed me but I didn't hate Bush. His failure to do nothing with health care was also disappointing but I didn't hate him nor created negative and false stories about him.

Rush Limbaugh set the tone for those with heavy baggage on the brain when he said I hope he fails before Obama's inauguration day. The enemy is not the president. The enemy is the knuckleheads that destroyed the World Trade Towers. The enemy is the terrorist attacking a US Naval vessel in Yemen. The enemy is Richard the Shoe Bomber. The enemy is the Times Square bomber.

The enemy is not the president. If this county fails or falls or becomes 3rd world it won't be the fault of Obama. It will be the fault of all the baggage carriers from the 50's, 60's, and 70's that can't let go of the past.

America needs bright brains with positive motivtion. It doesn't need internal bickering and self destruction. The Chinese are just sitting back laughing at us pick our own selves apart. We have greed, baggage, drugs, crime, and all sorts of social problems.

Yet, we waste time in gridlock and moaning internally while the country is slowly going down the drain. Not to mention the amnesia many people suffer from the catastrophic behavior of George Bush,Jr.

Together we stand divided we fail people. Let's stop this internal fighting and bring this country together. The Chinese continuosly laugh at us. I was in the service for 24 years. We remained a great force because we respected our president regardless of party or his views.

World View: German Ship Seized - Kenya Uncivilized - Obama's Adopted Home

My wife and I visited Africa this past Christmas and New Years. Africa has a primitive society and a modern society. Kenya uncivilized? I don't think so. Is this an attempt to smear the president because of his relation with the country?

Adopted home. He visited there to identify with him roots but I don't believe it's his adopted home or what does that really mean? The ship was seized by Somolians which is East Africa near Kenya but the Kenyans had nothing to do with the pirating. I suspect the Somolians don't take too kindly with competition.

Was this complete title a ploy to highlight the president and make him look bad? He has nothing to do with anything in this topic. Nor does Kenyan have anything to do with this title other than proximity. World View: German Ship Seized - Kenya Uncivilized - Obama's Adopted Home?

Let's try to come together and defeat the real enemy of America. We have real problems that need your very energy to help make things right. Sitting on your butts and just criticizing the president doesn't count. We need jobs, get rid of drugs, get rid of gangs, build new hospitals, build new bridges and roads, and support our troops unselfishly because they are in harms way for us.

They don't need to hear all this bickering while getting shot at!!! Let's show some help and try to become part of the solution not part of the problems. Your negative ploys against the president serves no purpose and doesn't help the country. Where's the respect? Bush got while he was destroying the country?

No, Wolfman,

I am in no position to critique or judge you. My only comments were about your article posted. But I will always respect you as a person. Normally, I refrain from being too critical on folk's articles because we all are entitled to our opinions. However, we must at least hold true to the facts.

I tread very carefully when discussing politics because I have criticism for both parties. This America we are currently in is like no other I've ever experienced. But I am one person you don't have to worry about.

I'm a little depressed. Been living outside the USA for 25 years. I don't like what I see. The Europeans and the Asians are laughing at us because we have extreme internal fighting. This isn't good. I support and respect all our presidents because they are the American leaders. You are alright with me.

Ira #9.2...I salute your comment. It is dignified, respectful, and logical. I'm not above admitting that I'm wrong. I can provide space to make any legal argument.

I do not want to suppress freedom of speech or dissenting ideas. I may not agree with dissenting ideas, but I'll listen to them.

I don't like conclusions with arguments to head to a preconceived conclusion.

World views are valuable to me. You are right about China and Asia laughing at us. Local, state, and even national views are not nearly as important to me as a world view.

There are people in China advocating free speech; I'm on their side. There are others in the US, who would try to restrict free speech. I will do everything within my power to oppose restriction of free speech no matter what their office is. In other words, if I was in Venezuela, I would oppose Chavez. I salute Liu Xiaobo and those who wrote the letter advocating free speech, in China.

The idea that Obama is anti colonialist, insulted the British, and thinks he can “channel” with his father, isn’t attacked.

It has been attacked quite well and should have been obviously dismissed, as the claims are outrageous leaps in logic, and that is why Dinesh suffers such ridicule for making such weak suggestions yet concluding strongly a sentiment that seems more projectionist than anything else.

However, D’Souza is attacked because an author made a claim against D’Souza the messenger. Don’t show me anything about D’Souza the person, show me where his ideas are wrong.

See above, and please read in full, Conservative author Andrew Ferguson from this link below:

http://www.weeklystandard.com/articles/roots-lunacy_508809.html

Here is an excerpt from the middle, bolding added by me:

The Roots of Lunancy, How Not to Understand Obama

...Readers will not be shocked that D’Souza’s paradigm easily passes D’Souza’s test, thanks to the author’s misstatements of fact, leaps in logic, and pointlessly elaborate argumentation. The misstatements range from the very small to the very large. As “further evidence that this anticolonial reading is on the right track,” he cites Obama’s press conference after the Gulf oil spill.

“Time and again,” he writes, Obama “condemned ‘British Petroleum’—an interesting term since the company long ago changed its name to BP. Given our anticolonial theory, it’s no surprise that Obama wanted to remind Americans of what BP used to stand for.”

Right you are, Holmes! Except .  .  . I’ve read the transcript of the press conference, and Obama didn’t make a single reference to British Petroleum—a name which, in any event, is commonly used by many people of a certain age (including me) who are sworn enemies of anticolonialism. D’Souza makes many errors of this sort, citing facts that aren’t facts in support of an otherwise unsupported conclusion. He says that Obama, in his memoir Dreams from My Father, never mentions his father’s drunkenness. Obama mentions it often. Indeed, D’Souza misreads the entire memoir: Far from admiring his father and emulating him, Obama makes his disillusionment with his father one of the themes of his own life story.

I'm sorry...this Newsvine article makes the argument in the same vein as D'Souza's own thinking pattern, and maybe taken serious only by those who think in line with such colourful personalities as Newt Gingrich and Glenn Beck....outrageous stuff, but illogical and unfounded...

bigsaf #10...The comment contains remarks about the messenger Denesh D'Souza, which have no value to me. I don't care about whether "British Petroleum" appeared in Obama's transcript. The fact is, I looked up the transcript. "British Petroleum" does not appear in the transcript. The letters "BP" does; 11 times. So D'Souza was criticized, but to little avail. I still hold Denesh D'Souza in esteem.
D'Souza says Obama senior was a Luo tribal leader, a drunk, a wife beater, had 4 wives, 8 children, lost 2 legs due to drunkenness, and finally died in an accident due to excessive drinking.
Rebut that.
How many "tribal leaders" do we have in advanced civilizations? Kenya had "tribal leaders" as recently as the 1960's.
I looked up where D'Souza found information about Obama junior "channeling". It came from Obama junior himself, and is on video. That video is authentic.

"It has been attacked quite well"

  • False

The attacks are far removed from rebuttal of the ideas stated above. They are attacks by attacks on the messenger, which have no value.

Um...Wolf, I don't think you're distinguishing attacks on statements from personalities properly, or that examining the spoken word and actions can indeed help conclude what one's character is.

Did you read all of Andrew Ferguson's review?

You do realize the author of the book, DD, falsely made an argument and claim that weakens his theory and conclusion on the whole when this flaw, out of many, was pointed out?

He falsely attributed words to the accused, Obama, that were not made in the frequency he, DD, claimed.

At the end by saying BP, 11 times, means pretty much nil...to conclude anything from that is ridiculous, and might as well put the same accusation to Palin for her usage of 'BP' and 'British Petroleum' in her speeches.

D'Souza says Obama senior was a Luo tribal leader, a drunk, a wife beater, had 4 wives, 8 children, lost 2 legs due to drunkenness, and finally died in an accident due to excessive drinking.
Rebut that.

??

Um, that is pretty much noted by Obama himself and the Reviewer who rightfully dismisses Dinesh's fallacies and low quality book...

With false information, character assassination and nothing more than fantastic imagination and leaps in logic, how does one conclude academically he is anti-colonialist through such dribble?

Here is another instance where arguments made by D'Souza are again proven false, and hence exposed again...

  • False

I researched this, and the more I found out, the more disillusioned I became with Obama junior. The evidence strongly suggests that Bill Ayers wrote "Dreams of My Father". So, if Obama's father's drunkenness is mentioned in "Dreams of My Father" it could be Bill Ayers' words; not Obama junior's. I also found information, which cites identical words and phrases and ideas in Ayers' books; in "Dreams of My Father".

Criticizing the messenger has little value

One more time; criticizing the messenger has little value.

I'm not going to waste time reading attacks on what I consider trivial stuff like some author said D'Souza said "British Petroleum".

Obama being given credit for writing a book, which he probably did not write, has value.

Denesh D'Souza's ideas remain intact.

I seeee...

Any logical criticism against arguments and discrediting fallacies is defended and counter-argued as simply a false attack on the messenger, while the disproven idea is intact for confirmation bias purposes...

You're right, it is wasting time when one can't register or accept a false anti-colonialist argument made and claims it to be 'trivial', when it is one of many arguments and crux to the misinformed author's conclusion.

I think Andrew-1162039 captured it quite well in his comment #1.5

Ayers writing Obama's book - has value, keeps D'Souza's anti-colonial idea intact....got it. You may want to pass that gem to Andrew Ferguson.

What I found surprised me, and it will probably surprise others. Thank you for bringing a result, which is an unintended consequence.

The letter by Dinesh D'Souza

  • I made the "BP" argument on my own
  • D'Souza now verifies my argument
  • Attacks on a messenger have little or no value to me
  • Attacks on a messenger are a waste of my time and other's time
