Music: Hi-Ho - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

This may be an old article, but it needs to be repeated. I would prefer that you just read the "Link" if you don't want to spend a lot of time. Link

I'm by no means a financial genius, but I do have common sense. I can analyze financial information, and cut through the maize, if there is one. I took accounting in college, but it doesn't apply here.
Here's what we have in a nutshell. We have spenders; I'll leave out the adjectives. Here's proof; " And White House budget forecasters said they now project $9 trillion of additional federal debt over the next decade, adding $2 trillion to an earlier estimate."

We must

  • Get the money from taxes, or
  • Borrow the money, or
  • Print the money
  • This article is concerned mainly with borrowing, and printing money. China owns a chunk of our debt. They are concerned with the current administration, and have made it known. China They are still buying our debt, but nothing says that they can't quit. They can buy someone else's debt. China does not like the practice of the US government printing money. They are being put in harm's way, and I am being put in harm's way; you are also. The Federal government is printing money electronically. Printing presses, paper, and ink are not needed.

I'm not going to go into great detail about the consequences of printing money. Printing money can lead to disaster as history has shown. It is not openly revealed as to how much "printing" is or has taken place. The previous link above does give an indication. All this talk about ruining our grandchildren may be a diversion. They don't want to talk about the disaster, which could be more immediate. Information about "printing money" has been hidden, by law.

Wiemar Republic...Germany. About 1923 they printed money. Marks deteriorated from 4.2 per US dollar to 1 million to US dollar.

    What's this?
    Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I don't want to come back in a year and say, "I told you so".
