What Have The Democrats Done For You?

PUBLIC EDUCATION SUBVERTS Washington Lies - Walter Williams

HOME MORTGAGES Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Maxine Waters  and others are up to their eyeballs in this. [Foul language]

Add the destruction of General Motors and Chrysler to the list, and you have a tip of the iceberg. We have gone from declaring bankruptcy to bailouts. We have added Czars to the government. ACORN is supported by the government. Communists are appointed to high ranking Federal Government positions. Sotomayor, who threw out a decision to benefit a white guy and was overruled, is a member of the supreme court; thanks to Democrats.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

They have given you "spread the wealth", destroy incentive, Obama. Between spreading the wealth, destruction of incentive, and spending by borrowing, taxing, and printing unwisely, we are on the way to destruction.

They've pi$$ed me off...that's what they've done. I've been called a racist for not falling in line with the Obama dogma.

I've seen everyday Americans attacked for protesting. Something the left constantly practiced the entire eight years of the Bush Administration.

I've seen corrupt Democrat politicians being defended by leftists and corrupt Republican politicians being attacked by leftists....the hypocrisy is UnFreakingBelivable!

I'd continue but I feel my blood pressure rising right now.

Didn't really agree about "communists in high office" but for the most part you're right on. You know that there was a government investigation into ACORN that basically said they are a bunch of lying thieves and low and behold, it was basically buried. That's what the Democrats have done for me lately

I would agree except that I believe it isn't just "democrats". I think our entire political arena has become a bunch of arrogant, self-serving, fools. There remains a very few who would like to change this, but they are unable to change the majority by themselves. We need to let these few know that they are doing the right thing by supporting them. It is also very important to let the "Independents" know what the "right thing" is.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/122693/Democratic-Advantage-Party-Affiliation-Shrinks.aspx

These Independents can make the difference! Perhaps, if the remaining loyal Republicans and Democrats where to declare themselves to be Independents and move away from the "fools", our Constitutional government would operate the way it was designed.

wolfbilly...Not only do I like your comment and your link, I like the poll:

"Results are based on telephone interviews with 31,174 national adults, aged 18 and older, conducted Aug. 1-31, 2009, as part of Gallup Daily tracking. For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the maximum margin of sampling error is ±1 percentage points."

The Democrats are failing big time, and the trend is bound to continue. They "act stupidly".

All of the politicians in office today have had an equal hand in destroying America. Once upon a time I was proud to say I was Republican. Now, though, declaring for either party is like choosing between two different types of cancer.

Taxes and more taxes.

Cars for clunkers, but no cash for those whose unemployment ran out.

Yep leave it to the democrats to spend money on cash for clunkers, instead of putting that money where it could have helped real people in need.

Well now they want to give cash for your old refridge, again why not help those in real need. They scream about people being uninsured, well instead of helping them, and those who ran out of unemployment benefits, they will give you 4500 for a car, and money for a new refridge.

The cash for clunkers money would have been better spent caring for the families of the involuntarily unemployed. $4500.00 for food and necessities could make a big difference to them. The cash for clunkers program does not make any sense! The cash for the Clunkers should have come from the union (UAW), not from us, our children and our grandchildren.

The vast majority of the uninsured are young people who could buy insurance, but choose not to because they feel indestructable at their age and would rather have the money in their own pockets. So- why should the people on Medicare sacrifice to provide insurance for them? I can understand helping an unemployed person maintain insurance for their family because of an involuntary lay-off, etc. These are the real victoms, and I believe that this and similiar issues can be fixed without a socialist health plan which covers all.

I agree, I only bought up the issue of the health insurance because those on the left are screaming about the uninsured, yet they glady allow the government throw money away on programs like cash for clunkers, and now for your old refridge, when that money could have helped the 8 million who are uninsured and just really cannot afford insurance.
