UPDATE: Obama's invitation to have a beer at the White House is a bit tacky if not acting stupidly
Obama's recent actions and words could have been resolved if Obama had the right attitude.
He has displayed a questionable attitude in the past also.
In his most recent display, he said that the honorable, respected, and admired officer acted stupidly. Most of the law enforcement officers in the country do not agree with his actions and words He is stubborn instead of being cooperative. He could have ended the controversy, but he persists in his stubbornness.
He has spent thousands of dollars to avoid producing his birth certificate. Yet he stubbornly refuses to produce it. It gives the public the impression that he has something to hide. Why does he stubbornly persist in secrecy?
He is in agreement with William Ayers, Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega, and Fidel Castro. Yet he stubbornly defends his association with Ayers. "I wasn't aware" is not a good enough excuse. I hope and pray that Manuel Zelaya is ousted from Honduras. Obama is a socialist. Zelaya is a socialist. Hugo Chavez is a socialist, Ortega is something similar, and Fidel Castro is a Communist.
The country is in tough times. Obama has called for sacrifice. Yet he and his family live not only without sacrifice; they live extravagantly. That is true hypocrisy. $6000 purses, and New York City dates are not admirable in the situation that the United States of America finds itself in.
We have government money in financial companies, we have government money in automobile companies, we have unions as stock holders in automobile companies, we have 30 plus czars in government, and we have health care reform and Cap and Trade proposed. The deficit for 2009 will be near four times the deficit of 2008. Not all the deficit is covered by borrowed money; it's covered by electronically created money. In other words, Obama is presiding over an administration that prints money instead borrowing it. That's not good. It's extremely dangerous. Obama and his administration's attitude is totally unacceptable.
Obama's attitude in the Gates situation is just the tip of the iceberg.
