SEE TEA PARTY UPDATE AT THE END OF THIS ARTICLE
I have run into various web sites that oppose “Cap and Trade”. I read an article about “Cap and Trade” in my former hometown newspaper. It was opposed to “Cap and Trade”. The next article I ran into was in the Atlanta Journal Constitution. I was beginning to see a pattern, so I Googled “Cap and Trade”, clicked on “news”, and took a look at the links. I’ll let you decide what to conclude from an overview of the first two pages of links.
I took notice of the introduction on this link: Teague explains cap-and-trade vote
Alamogordo Daily News - Duane Barbati - 12 hours ago

I have posted “Fool Rule” and “Fool Rule: Part II” in newspaper forums in five cities. I didn’t get any comments in Chicago, Cleveland, or Defiance, Ohio, but I was opposed in Johnstown and Pittsburgh, Pa.
If “Cap and Trade” is so wonderful, it should pull California out of its financial problems. It’s too bad we’ll have to wait until 2012 to start helping them. Maybe we should give it a try in California as soon as possible. After all Waxman is from California. By the way, Edward Markey, cosponsor of the bill, is from Massachusetts.
I just read that “Cap and Trade” was a topic at the “Tea Parties” held across the United States today. I clicked on the “images” in the right frame. It’s a little too early to see the “Tea Parties” news. I’ll check tomorrow, and edit this article if I find significant news.
"It is estimated that 37,000 people showed up at the Tea Party in Dallas"
My gosh! If, among other things, you don't mind having your electric bills increase by around 40%, just sit back and let this pass.
Thank you for this, Wolfie. (hope it's OK to call you that)
